Go Deeper During Easter

Jesus Christ is risen! He alone has the power
to roll away the stones that block the path to life
." - Pope Francis

Throughout Easter, Catholics are encouraged to celebrate for 50 days the power of the resurrection of our Lord. The resurrection has changed everything, making all things new. We are to live that newness of life today and every day. The Easter season is also a time of preparation for Pentecost when the Church celebrates her birthday and the gift of the Holy Spirit to guide the Church to the end of time. Besides renewal of baptism promises (to God and from God), this is a time to renew the seal of the Holy Spirit we received at Confirmation. Allow the 7-fold gifts of the Holy Spirit to unfold in a richer and deeper way this Easter Season.

Besides the Easter activities found in our parish and archdiocese,
here are some personal resources:

  • Pope Francis Encyclical Letter: Dilexit Nos (On the Human and Divine Love of the Heart of Jesus Christ)

  • Nicene Creed - We’re in the 1,700th anniversary for the Council of Nicaea in AD 325.

when you pray, not answers.
You won't always find answers,
but you will always find Jesus."”
