Young Adult Lenten Retreat
9:30am, Saturday, March 29
Need a kick start in life…
A Lenten Retreat is that perfect escape to break from the routines, to make sure one is on the track of excellence and the fullness of life, God so desires for us.
Young Adults in their 20’s and 30’s are invited …
Whether you let your faith life go dormant or are staying fit and active, I’d like to invite you to spend a day of retreat, Saturday, March 29th at Old St. Mary’s Cathedral in SF. We’ll start at 9:30am with a light breakfast, with programming starting at 10am for those needing extra time to commute. We’ll conclude with Mass around 5pm.
The retreat will be using the Lenten themes to help us renew and revitalize how we do relationships with God, family, and friends. Lent after all has been historically for centuries, a time of deep conversion as people fell in love with God and became Catholic, or as people turned back from unhealthy ways to reconcile, repent, and renew their faith and relationships.
If you can join us, that would be great. Please register so we have enough food for everyone. Please also share the invitation with your friends or those who might have interest. A donation of $10 makes sure you have skin in the game and that we have the right amount of lunch. Please register by March 26th.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions - 415-288-3830 or IvanT@osmsf.org

PS - Old St. Mary’s is in downtown SF, so you might be concerned about parking if you’re not taking your BMW (Bart-Muni-Walking). Across from us on California is St. Mary’s Garage. They charge $8 on weekends.

Sometimes I think of life as a big wagon wheel with many spokes. In the middle is the hub. Often in ministry, it looks like we are running around the rim trying to reach everybody. But God says, “Start in the hub; live in the hub. Then you will be connected with all the spokes, and you won’t have to run so fast.”
